Jonathan Tah had appeared to be heading to Barcelona this summer but it looks like he may sign for Bayern Munich instead.
The defender has already confirmed he will be leaving Bayer Leverkusen on a free transfer and made the club aware of his decision.
Bayern have now opened “concrete negotiations” with Tah and his representatives and he’s the club’s top target to replace the departing Eric Dier, according to Sky Sport Germany.
Tah had been expected to sign for Barcelona but the Catalans are continuing to have issues with financial fair play, meaning his arrival is now in serious doubt.
The report claims that Real Madrid may also be an option for Tah. Xabi Alonso is set to replace Carlo Ancelotti as boss and could bring Tah with him.
Tah now has a big decision to make on his future and where he wants to play next season, with Bayern, Madrid and Barca all admirers.
