Premier League giants Chelsea and Manchester United are reportedly keeping tabs on exciting Barcelona starlet Juan Hernandez.
The [teenager is part of the Barcelona team](https://www.barcablaugranes.com/2025/4/28/24419553/ibrahim-diarra-dazzles-as-barcelona-storm-to-victory-in-uefa-youth-league-final) that won the UEFA Youth Cup just a few weeks ago and has a €6m buyout clause in his contract.
According to Sky Sports, both English teams have been tracking Hernandez all season and could look to activate his release clause.
The report claims that Chelsea could even bring him in and then send him out on loan to sister club Strasbourg.
Hernandez is not the first Barca youngster to interest Chelsea. The Blues signed Marc Guiu last season but, perhaps rather predictably, he’s struggled for game time in London.
That may serve as a warning to Hernandez who does have a contract with Barca until 2026. He arrived at La Masia in 2020 from Real Zaragoza and has played alongside Lamine Yamal while coming up through the ranks.
