Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal revealed the two stadiums he’s desperate to play in.

In the past two years Yamal has established himself as one of the greatest teenage footballers in history, having guided Spain to European Championship glory in 2024.

This term the 17-year-old has played a talismanic role in Barcelona’s surge for the La Liga title, and the club’s run to the Champions League semi-final.

Having lost to Inter 7-6 in a thrilling two legged Champions League semi-final tie, Yamal will be hoping that his young Barcelona outfit can build on this term’s success in next year’s competition.

And the Spain international will be hoping that any future runs in Europe will see him play at Old Trafford and Anfield.

“There are so many I’ve yet to experience, especially outside of Europe,” Yamal told Versus. “In Europe, some of the iconic ones I'd like to play in are Old Trafford and Anfield.”

While Yamal could grace the Anfield turf in the Champions League next season should Barcelona play Liverpool, it is not yet certain whether Old Trafford will also be an option then.

Manchester United will need to win the Europa League final against Tottenham later this month to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Elsewhere, the winger named his two favourite current players outside of Barcelona.

“Right now, outside of Barça, I think [Ousmane] Dembele or Bukayo Saka are doing really well,” said the teenager.

Meanwhile, Arsenal wide-man Bukayo Saka has been glowing in his praise for Yamal.

"He's top. Honestly, doing what he is doing at his age, what can you say, he's unreal," Saka admitted in an interview with Sky Sports. "It's not normal. No one does it. I don't think I've seen that level for a 17-year-old, so credit to him."
