Report: Saints QB Carr retiring due to shoulder injury

New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr, who is dealing with a shoulder injury that requires surgery that would knock him out of the 2025 NFL season, has decided to retire, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Rapoport says Carr tried an injection and rehab but it wouldn't allow him to be at 100 per cent unless he had another procedure.
