Quinn wants rookies to compete, learn Commanders standard

\-- Quinn loves this time of year, mostly because of the value that comes with teaching the rookies and undrafted free agents how to become professionals. "We're not going to miss one step of their development," he said. For the veterans, he wants to make sure his staff is putting together a solid plan for how they can perfect specific areas of their skill sets. "It's nice to see how hard everybody is working right off the bat."

It's getting noticed by his coaches, too; after going through one rep, one of his position coaches yelled, "Getting better every rep, Amos."

That, among other things, was something the 2024 class excelled at, and Quinn wants that standard to stay the same in 2025.

"Not every player can become a great player, but you can become a great teammate," Quinn said.
