Daniel Farke will be eager to add to his Leeds United squad over the summer transfer window, to boost his side’s chances of staying in the Premier League.

The 49ers are standing by the boss, but there have been anxieties expressed over the German’s previous top-flight form, which he will be keen to put to bed.

Farke’s job will be made much easier if he can make the right additions ahead of the new campaign, strengthening what is a solid base at Elland Road.

Leeds United interested in Franck Honorat

One man on the list of targets for the Whites this summer is Franck Honorat, of Farke’s former side Borussia Monchengladbach.

It has been reported that, should the German side fail to qualify for Europe this season, then he will be allowed to leave Germany.

The winger is a versatile player and could certainly add another dimension to the Leeds attack as they look to threaten in the Premier League.

While the 28-year-old never played under Farke’s management, the boss would be in a good position to try and strike a deal with his former side.

Honorat has contributed plenty to his side’s efforts throughout the campaign so far, making him an attractive prospect.

Honorat interest could spell bad news for Solomon transfer

If Leeds did complete the signing of Honorat in the summer transfer window, it would add to the attacking options of Willy Gnonto and Dan James.

Solomon 39 10 12

Leeds want to be a strong attacking side in the Premier League.

Manor Solomon has also been a key part of Leeds pushing forward this term and the Whites are eager to gain his services on a permanent basis from Tottenham.

However, there will be competition from elsewhere with several Premier League outfits said to be interested in Solomon ahead of the transfer window, including the likes of Everton.

It has to be considered that if the West Yorkshire outfit are looking to add Honorat to their ranks, it could mean they are set to miss out on this season’s loanee and are therefore being left to search elsewhere.

Farke would love to have plenty of options throughout the pitch, but playing at the top level, he has to keep his squad happy and if a position is overcrowded, the risk of fewer minutes is bound to put some players off.

Solomon should remain the priority for now as Leeds know his talent first hand, but Honorat could be a solid addition too, if the boss sees another winger as necessary.
