Bills Free Agent Edge Rusher Under Most Pressure in 2025

The Buffalo Bills, as a collective team, are under plenty of pressure this season from around the league and their own fan base.

After five straight division titles in the AFC East, the Bills are trying to figure out a way to move past the likes of the Kansas City Chiefs in the conference playoffs once and for all.

As a team, that pressure is palpable. Each players have their own sense of pressure in their own right, though. And Bleacher Report writer Gary Davenport believes that new Bills edge rusher Joey Bosa has the most pressure on him compared to almost anyone else in the league.

"The third overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, Bosa topped 10 sacks in three of his first four seasons, making the Pro Bowl three times," Davenport said. "But in the five seasons since, Bosa has hit the 10-sack mark just once, and that was back in 2021. Since then, Bosa has missed 23 games and amassed just 14.5 sacks.

"Bosa’s 10th season may be the most important of his career. It’s not so much a matter of money—Bosa has plenty of that. It’s a matter of his legacy as a player—whether he goes down as a borderline Hall of Famer or a 'What If?' player."

At the height of his career, Bosa was one of the best edge rushers in the league as a Pro Bowl player. Injuries have derailed his career, though.

If he can bounce back in a big way this season, the Bills may not just get by the Chiefs finally, but Bosa may get his career back on track as well.
