Nicolas Jackson was sent off for Chelsea against Newcastle | Premier League
Man Utd travel to face Chelsea in their final away match of the Premier League season.
Chelsea have been handed a huge setback ahead of their final Premier League home match of the season against Manchester United next week. United are in action when they host West Ham at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon before they visit Stamford Bridge next Friday night.
United have three Premier League matches left as well as the Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur and are set to use the domestic matches as a chance to rest key players for the showdown in Bilbao. Ruben Amorim does not plan to give his key players any time off between now and the final, but is expected to make wholesale changes to his line up across the next two matches.
The success of their season will be determined by the outcome of the Tottenham match, though Chelsea will have a lot to play for when they host United next week. The Blues are involved in a tight race for a top-five finish and will have to pursue Champions League football without star striker Nicolas Jackson.

Nicolas Jackson banned for Manchester United match
Chelsea will be without Nicolas Jackson when they host Manchester United in the Premier League next Friday night. The 23-year-old was shown a straight red card against Newcastle on Sunday lunchtime, which will see him miss the remaining matches of the campaign.
The Chelsea striker was initially shown a yellow card for an elbow on Newcastle defender Sven Botman in the 33rd minute of the match, before a lengthy VAR check determined he was guilty of serious foul play. It is a huge blow to Enzo Maresca's side, who are now without a recognised centre-forward for the remainder of the season.
Taking to social media after the red card decision was confirmed, the Premier League match centre released a statement to confirm the call. "VAR checked the referee’s call of yellow card to Jackson – and deemed that the challenge by Jackson on Botman was a serious foul play offence, therefore recommended an on-field review. The referee then upgraded the yellow to a red card."
