Egbuka Offers Good News To Fans About Bucs No. 1 Strength

For new Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Emeka Egbuka, the past month has been a whirlwind, but now he is finally in the building and getting to work.

After months of getting ready for the draft, to now be able to participate in rookie mini-camp, Egbuka has hit the ground running as part of Josh Grizzard's offense.

But coming from a college program like Ohio State, as good as it is, it doesn't compare to an NFL locker room, and for Emeka, he's been nothing but impressed with what might be this team's No. 1 strength since stepping inside the building for mini-camp.

"You can just tell talking to the guys and the coaches, how much people take pride in the work that they do here," Egbuka said. "How genuine the culture is and the people around here, so it's definitely a good place to be, especially in my first few days. Just meeting everybody, putting names to faces, it's been a good learning experience for me."

The fit? This soon? That's good news to Bucs fans, no doubt.

Egbuka comes to the Buccaneers looking to forge his own path in an offense that has an abundance of weapons, so it's all about fitting in where he can.

Baker Mayfield leads the charge, and with Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Jalen McMillan, and Cade Otton, there are a lot of mouths to feed. But it's clear Emeka is putting his head down and getting to work in his first NFL offseason.

There will be ups and downs, no doubt, but Egbuka is determined to put his best foot forward, which is a little easier when the building's energy matches his.
