Arsenal came from 2-0 down at half-time to take a much needed point at Anfield, drawing 2-2 with champions Liverpool.
Two quick-fire goals from the home side in the first half rocked Mikel Arteta’s men who didn’t play anywhere near well enough in the opening 45, but in the second period some tactical changes allowed us to get back into it.
Gabriel Martinelli headed home a Leandro Trossard cross, before Mikel Merino headed home after Alisson saved a strong Martin Odegaard shot. The Spaniard was then sent off for a second yellow card, but the Gunners held on until the end to take a point back to North London.
