Sunday marked a special day for mothers around the world, and Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes made sure to honor his wife, Brittany, with a heartfelt tribute on Instagram.
The couple, who have been together since their high school days at Whitehouse High in Texas, share three children and have built a life rooted in love and support. Their Mother’s Day celebration came just after a memorable Saturday night, where Patrick was inducted into the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame following his standout four-year high school career.
Patrick and Brittany’s relationship began when he was a sophomore and she was a junior. Now, over a decade later, they continue to grow their family and celebrate milestones together. Patrick shared several photos of Brittany and their family, captioning the post, "Happy Mother’s Day! Love you!"
Which instantly struck a reaction from Brittany who commented, "I love you𥹠thanks for making babies with me☺️ð¤"
During Saturday night's induction ceremony, Brittany stood proudly beside Patrick, joined by both of his parents who were also in attendance for the special event. Mahomes used the moment to make a major announcement, revealing a new partnership initiative with Adidas Football — one of his primary sponsors.
Mahomes shared that he and Adidas are launching “Team Mahomes,” a program that will outfit 15 high school football teams with custom uniforms featuring his signature Gladiator logo. Naturally, the first school selected to represent the brand is his alma mater, Whitehouse High School.
“As a part of this recognition,” Mahomes said, “I’m proud to announce that @adidasfballus and I are signing 15 high schools to Team Mahomes that will represent my Gladiator logo on their uniforms — starting with Whitehouse High School. This is just the beginning.”

The couple welcomed their first child, Sterling Skye, in 2021, followed by their son, Patrick "Bronze" Mahomes III, in November 2022. Most recently, during the Chiefs’ 2024 playoff run, they added a third child to the family — their second daughter, Golden Raye, born in January 2025.
