Erin Andrews Reacts to Tom Brady’s Emotional Post on Sunday

Across the country, professional athletes shared personal tributes to their mothers on Sunday. Mother's Day 2025 was another chance to celebrate the people who raised and supported them.

Among those honoring their moms was one of the greatest of all time, Tom Brady, who posted a heartfelt message that captured attention nationwide. Within the many responses to his post was a reply from longtime NFL sideline reporter Erin Andrews.

Andrews, who has been with NFL on Fox since 2014, spent years covering Brady during his legendary career. Her response to his touching tribute stood out for its simplicity and sincerity.

"Happy Mother’s Day to the strongest and most inspiring woman I know," Brady's post read. "Your love is the foundation of our family! You’ve faced life’s toughest challenges with grace and determination, still always putting us first."

"Thank you for being our rock and an example for your kids and grandkids. We’re endlessly grateful for everything you’ve done and everything you continue to be. We love you more than words can say ❤️❤️❤️"

Tom Brady’s journey is one of the most documented in sports history. A sixth-round pick out of Michigan in the 2000 NFL draft, Brady went on to redefine success in the NFL. He played for the New England Patriots from 2000 to 2019, then joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2020 to 2022.

Brady led his teams to seven Super Bowl victories. He was named Super Bowl MVP five times and won the league MVP award three times. After retiring, Brady joined NFL on Fox as a game analyst alongside Kevin Burkhardt. He also holds a minority ownership stake in the Las Vegas Raiders.

Andrews graduated from the University of Florida and has been a prominent figure in NFL broadcasting for years. She remains a key voice on Fox's NFL coverage. This week, Andrews is also scheduled to appear as a co-host on "Today with Jenna & Friends."
