Chicago Bears wide receiver Luther Burden at rookie minicamp
LAKE FOREST – Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson's first rookie minicamp concluded on Sunday following three days spent with draft picks, undrafted free agents, and camp tryouts trying to keep their football dreams alive.
For some of the non-roster invites who stepped on the practice field at Halas Hall over the weekend, this was their first and only chance to showcase their talents inside an NFL camp. For the Bears' 2025 draft class, this was just the beginning.
Following a short 23-minute practice period, we heard from special teams coordinator Richard Hightower, sixth-round offensive lineman Luke Newman, and seventh-round running back Kyle Monangai.
