Liverpool fans have a theory that they know what Andy Robertson told Trent Alexander-Arnold on Sunday.
The full-back, 26, announced he was leaving Liverpool once his contract expires at the end of the season. And he was then met with a chorus of boos as he joined the fray at Anfield during their 2-2 draw with Arsenal.
One fan has proposed a cheeky theory on what Robertson told Alexander-Arnold as he wrapped his arm around his outgoing team-mate at half-time. The fan said: "Robbo telling Trent ‘Thought these lot were the best in Europe’..."
It was a cheeky dig at Mikel Arteta's comments after the Gunners were dumped out Europe: "100 percent I don’t think there’s been a better team [than Arsenal] in the competition from what I have seen," he said.
The Kop also taunted Arteta, firstly with a banner and then with chants of "Best team in Europe, you’re having a laugh," as Liverpool scored twice in one minute and 27 seconds.

"You know they’re joking about the overall assists in the PL," a second proposed when theorising what Robertson said. While a third said: "Or “why the f*** are you leaving this?”
And another added: "He told Trent to look up the Madrid score and they got battered again!"
"That is not pleasant for him," Gary Neville said on commentary for Sky Sports as The Kop started to chant Steven Gerrard's name - who had the chance to leave Liverpool but elected to stay.
"I wasn't expecting Alexander-Arnold to be booed as much as he has," Neville added.

Arne Slot tried to console Alexander-Arnold, putting his arm around him as the boos reigned down before he entered the pitch.
"I said to everyone that asked this question that it is a privilege to live in Europe where everyone can have his own opinion and express their own opinion and that is what we saw today," said the Liverpool head coach.
"Some of them were not happy with him. All of them are not happy with him leaving the club but a few of them showed it in a way that they booed him and some of them clapped.
"The only thing I can say is I owe it to the players and staff who work so hard to win a game of football.

"To try to do that and if, after 70 minutes, Conor can’t continue and I have a world-class full back on the bench I bring him in and it's a big compliment to him.
"You can understand the mixed emotions going through his head and he can produce a performance like that tells me why I think and everyone else thinks he's a world-class full-back.
