The star in question here is Chelsea’s under-18 keeper Freddy Bernal. According to Fabrizio Romano, Gunners made an offer of £1.25 million to sign Bernal. But, the Blues have rejected the offer quickly as they are clear about not selling him.

Arsenal can once again go after Bernal by improving their offer. But, it seems that the Blues consider Bernal as an important player for the future. It will be interesting to see how the player reacts to the offer. He can opt to force the move despite as he is wanted by several others.
At Arsenal, Bernal can be directly introduced in first-team. They are in need of new keepers this summer. David Raya will be first-choice keeper but the club wants a second-choice and third-choice keeper. As for second-choice they are keen to sign Joan Garcia.
