Manchester United defender Leny Yoro is a doubt for their next game against Chelsea on Friday night.
The Red Devils could be without seven players for the game on Friday. They’ll be hoping that they can improve on their last game which was a 2-0 defeat to West Ham United over the weekend.
Yoro had to come off during the game against the Hammers as he is dealing with an ankle injury, which means he could miss United’s next game against Chelsea. It is understood that while it is connected to the major injury he suffered earlier in the season, it isn’t expected to be a major problem.
Ruben Amorim said after the game: “He had that problem at the beginning of the season. We hope it’s not too serious. I don’t want to say too much, but maybe it’s not a big deal.”
He may miss the Chelsea game, but will be back in more than enough time to start against Tottenham in the Europa League final later in the month.
Expected return date – Unknown (Currently being assessed)
Ayden Heaven
Heaven is also a doubt for the game against Chelsea, as he also has an ankle injury. He has been recovering since last month, and could make his return at the weekend.
It would mean that Amorim would easily be able to rest Yoro, to keep him fit for the Europa League final.
Expected return date – Friday 16 May vs Chelsea (A)
