Former New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordan Hudson, competed in the Miss Maine USA 2025 yesterday, and was not crowned.
Belichick, 73, had a front-row seat at the two-day competition, where he supported his 24-year-old girlfriend, a former cheerleader, at Bridgewater State University.
Representing her hometown of Hancock, Hudson placed second-runner up in the state pageant, held in Portland, Maine, and will not advance to the Miss USA pageant, where newly-crowned Shelby Howell will represent the Pine Tree State.
Last year, Hudson— who is 49 years Belichick’s junior — lost to Anne Baldridge, who won the Miss Maine 2024 title.
Then offstage, at the pageant’s conclusion, Hudson sported a sour look on her face, as her bodyguard shielded her from reporters’ requests for comments, escorting her and her famous beau out of the venue.
Earlier in the night of pageant finals, after advancing to the top five, Hudson took part in the interview round of competition.
When asked how she was doing, Hudson responded: “I’m feeling an immense amount of pride right now. I hope anyone who’s watching this finds the strength to push through whatever it is that they’re going through, and embodies that hate never wins.”

During preliminary competition on Saturday, Hudson won the “style” award before advancing to the top 10 on Sunday, and then top 5, who were interviewed on stage.
Hudson was asked if she could revisit any moment from her past, which one she would choose and why. She replied: “I would go back to the days when I was on my family’s fishing boat in Hancock, Maine.
“I think about this often because there’s a mass exodus for fishermen occurring in the rural areas of Maine, and I don’t want to see more fishermen leave this place.
“As your next Miss Maine USA, I would make a point to go to communities, to go into the government and advocate for these people so that they don’t have to think about these memories as a past moment.”

UNLIKELY COUPLE
The legendary former Patriots head coach Belichick is currently preparing for a fresh start in his storied football career as he gets ready to lead the University of North Carolina, with the team’s season opener against Texas Christian University scheduled for Sept. 1.
But even before the season kicks off, Belichick’s arrival in Chapel Hill, North Carolina has been making headlines as Hudson drew wide attention following reports she has been barred from UNC football facilities.
A statement released by the UNC read: “While Jordon Hudson is not an employee at the University or Carolina Athletics, she is welcome to the Carolina Football facilities.
“Jordon will continue to manage all activities related to Coach Belichick’s personal brand outside of his responsibilities for Carolina Football and the University.”
The unlikely couple stirred controversy during an April 27 CBS interview, when the beauty queen was accused of flexing her control over the former NFL coach’s segment “CBS News Sunday Morning,” allegedly interjecting and advising him to refuse certain questions.
The interview was part of a promotional tour for Belichick’s new book, “The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football.”
