For the past three decades, the NFL has set aside a weekend not long after the annual draft to show off the latest class of professional football’s incoming rookies. And this year, three recent starters for the Texas Longhorns will be among the attendance in Los Angeles.
That includes former quarterback Quinn Ewers, former wide receiver Matthew Golden, and former running back Jaydon Blue, all three of whom started on offense for Texas in 2024.
“Participants are selected based on factors like college performance, draft status, position, and marketability, all of which influence their early value in trading cards and brand deals,” according to a news release from the NFLPA.
Ewers, currently the third-string quarterback for the Miami Dolphins, was a seventh round selection in this year’s NFL Draft. Meanwhile, Blue was a fifth round pick for the Dallas Cowboys, and Golden was a first round pick for the Green Bay Packers.
