The Tampa Bay Buccaneers enter the 2025 season with one of the best offenses in the league. They have a 1,000-yard rusher, a quarterback who threw over 40 touchdowns last season, and a quality offensive line.
What makes that group go, though, is their dynamic receivers.
Mike Evans and Chris Godwin have been Tampa Bay's dynamic duo since the latter was drafted by the team in the third round of the 2017 draft. They have been to the playoffs numerous times and even won a Super Bowl together in 2020.
As age begins to creep up, though, the league still has a lot of respect for the Buccaneers stars.
Bleacher Report writer Kristopher Knox ranked the top 10 wide receiver pairs in the league, and the Buccaneers' top pair came in at ninth on the list.
"Let's jump from the youngest duo on our list to perhaps its most proven. Mike Evans and Chris Godwin have been lighting up opposing defenses for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the past eight seasons," Knox wrote.
"There's little reason to believe this tandem won't continue to shine for as long as it remains together. However, Godwin is coming off of a significant injury, which could impact his production in 2025."
Tampa Bay has brought in extra receiver help in the last few years to help mitigate some of the injuries and age that has begun to show for both Godwin and Evans. That doesn't take away from how good they have been, though.
And with a roster that should have championship aspirations once again, the Buccaneers should have plenty of ammo to stand out.
