The academy season is now over, which means thoughts will inevitably turn to which youngsters will be departing the club this summer.
It could well be the case that a significant amount of academy players will leave Arsenal, especially given that the new intake of scholars is set to be a large group.
As previously reported, forward **Khayon Edwards** is likely to leave Arsenal when his contract expires at the end of next month.
The likes of **Nathan Butler-Oyedeji**, **Jack Henry-Francis** and **Jimi Gower** have been on the fringes of the first-team squad in recent months and decisions need to be made regarding whether they will be offered new contracts and potentially sent on loan.
**Salah-Eddine** has, somewhat strangely, not been heavily involved with the first-team squad this season despite often excelling for the U21s and he could depart.
**Charles Sagoe Jr** signed a new contract last year but the club must decide whether the winger should be loaned out again.
Left-back **Elian Quesada-Thorn** has been unlucky with injuries and could leave when his contract expires, while **Ismail Oulad M’hand** is another player who could potentially depart.
Arsenal must decide the future of third year scholar **Romari Forde**.
With regards to the second years, **Jakai Fisher**, **Zac Shuaib** and **Reece Clairmont** seem set to leave. **Max Kuczynski**, **Daniel Oyetunde** and **Cam’ron Ismail** also aren’t guaranteed to get professional contracts.
