A former Wolves loanee could be on his way back to the Premier League, according to reports.
Transfer rumours are building as Premier League clubs await the arrival of the summer window.
Vitor Pereira has hinted at his ideas for Wolves in the transfer market, as the manager prepares for his first summer at the club.
In January, Pereira orchestrated a successful winter window, welcoming three players, with others already being linked ahead of a possibly busy summer.

Arsenal want to sign former Wolves loanee Francisco Trincao
Aside from possible arrivals, Wolves will be wary of exits, as Matheus Cunha is set to leave Molineux.
Rayan Ait-Nouri is also generating interest amid changing agents, however, it’s not only the current Wolves squad who are making the headlines.
One former Wolf is being surrounded by transfer speculation, as it’s been reported that ex-loanee Francisco Trincao is wanted by Arsenal.
Portuguese outlet Record shared the news, stating that, as well as Viktor Gyokeres and Ousmane Diomande, the Gunners want to sign Trincao.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
It’s understood that Mikel Arteta’s representatives visited the Estadio Jose Alvalade amid the links, as Wolves could see their former loanee make a shock return to England.
Bruno Lage wanted more from Trincao
Trincao has been linked with a Premier League transfer before, as both Manchester United and Manchester City were previously listed as admirers of the winger.
It’s been three years since the Sporting CP star’s stint at Wolves ended, and, after leaving the West Midlands, it could be said that very few would’ve expected to see the forward returning to England so soon.
Trincao had a hit-and-miss time at Wolves, scoring three goals in 30 appearances during his season on loan in 2021/22.
Though the Portugal international’s talent was clear for all to see, there were doubts regarding his suitability for the Premier League.
As a result, Bruno Lage was forced to respond to criticism of Trincao, where, whilst backing his player, he suggested that he needed more from the loanee.
“I think it’s not just Trincao, it’s about everyone, especially in front, to be more aggressive, we need to be more aggressive,” Lage said after Wolves’ defeat to West Ham in March 2022.
“It’s not just about him, it’s about everyone. Being aggressive is about movement, runs in behind, shooting on target.”
Lage, who is now thriving at Benfica, wanted more from his entire attack, including Trincao, who eventually returned to Barcelona as the Old Gold snubbed a permanent transfer.
It’s funny how things work, as now the ex-loanee could return to England with a title-challenging club.
