According to Spanish outlet Marca, Rodrygo is not only considering leaving Madrid, he does not want to play for them again having fallen out of favour following the arrival of Kylian Mbappe in the last summer transfer window.

His relationship with his teammates has also deteriorated significantly, which could be good news for Arsenal and other suitors ahead of the summer.

The North London club want to bolster their attack and are keen to sign a winger, and while Athletic Bilbao forward Nico Williams is a top target, his Madrid counterpart will be a much cheaper option.

The 24-year-old has 11 goals and seven assists across the Champions League and La Liga this term, and he is capable of playing on both wings, as a striker and behind one.
