Ah, there’s nothing like Sunday during the NFL season.
Unless you’re the Eagles.
Then just about every day is like Sunday. At least that’s the case so far as the 2025 schedule continues to be released in dribs and drabs.
The latest schedule news came Tuesday morning from ESPN’s Adam Schefter when he posted that the Eagles will be in Green Bay to face the Packers on Monday Nov. 10. The game will be on ESPN and ABC.
It’s the fourth game on the Eagles’ schedule that we now know the date.
The others:
The Eagles and Packers have developed a bit of a rivalry in recent years with the teams playing five times since 2019, including twice last season. The teams opened the 2024 season on a Friday night in São Paulo, Brazil, with the Eagles winning the first-ever game in South America in wildly entertaining fashion.
The rematch with the Packers came during the Wild Card round of the playoffs and the Eagles started their march to the franchise’s second Super Bowl title by winning 22-10 at Lincoln Financial Field.
This offseason, the Packers proposed banning the tush push, which has been the Eagles’ signature play since the 2022 season. A vote on that proposal was tabled at the NFL Annual meeting earlier this spring, but it will be on the table again when the owners meeting in Minneapolis next month.
Many believe the tush push will indeed be outlawed with the league reverting to a pre-2003 rule that banned pushing or pulling players anywhere on the field.
The Packers lead the all-time series between the teams 29-20, but the Eagles are 3-1 in the postseason against Green Bay.
