PITTSBURGH (WNDU) - Former Notre Dame football player Max Hurleman has signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers as an undrafted free agent.
Hurleman [received an invite to the Steelers’ rookie minicamp](https://www.wndu.com/2025/04/28/former-notre-dame-football-players-sign-nfl-undrafted-free-agents-get-rookie-minicamp-invites/) after going undrafted last month. And after showing out there, he’s earned an invite to training camp.
Hurleman was a transfer to Notre Dame from Colgate and ranked 40th nationally in average punt return yards.
He was a mainstay on special teams for the Irish and is trying to fill that same role at the NFL level.
