ALLEN PARK -- The Detroit Lions were back on the field for the first time in months this past weekend, with their draft class and rookies partaking in minicamp.
MLive’s Dungeon of Doom was on the ground in Allen Park for the first rookie minicamp session. We’re recapping what we saw on the field from the draft class, undrafted free agents and tryout players. Also, we got to speak with each of the team’s seven draftees, so view this podcast episode as a chance to get to know each rookie.
There wasn’t a ton of actual football to talk about after Friday’s session, as it was a heavy walkthrough and acclimation day. Still, we’ll offer our thoughts after getting our eyes on each rookie for the first time, with a snippet of what each new addition had to say.
