Arsenal&United amongst the clubs interested to sign PSG star

Arsenal and Man United are amongst the clubs interested to sign PSG star. The player can be available in the transfer market this season as he has lacked regular game-time.

The star in question here is Goncalo Ramos. He is 23 years old striker who plays for Portugal on international stage. Ramos came into attention after World Cup 2022. PSG opted to sign him in summer 2023 and the player has so far played 78 games for them.

Arsenal, Man United and several others keen to sign Ramos this summer

According to Caught Offside, Arsenal and Man United are both showing strong interest in Goncalo Ramos. They are joined by Newcastle United, Aston Villa, Napoli and Juventus. But, the reports have handed the boost to the Red Devils and Gunners for now.

PSG are not in hurry to sell Ramos anytime soon. They rate the 23 year old very highly but the player can still force the move. This is because Ramos has failed to establish himself as a regular starter. He finds himself behind many other players in the pecking order.

Ramos has played 38 games this season. But, he has came on as a substitute in many of those. However, he has still managed to score 18 goals and pick 6 assists. Hence, other top clubs view him as a top target and they will try to convince him by guaranteeing regular game-time.

Arsenal are in desperate need for a striker right now. Mikel Arteta has identified the number nine position as the missing piece of the puzzle. They are ready to spend big but have many other alternatives over Goncalo Ramos. Their top priority is Isak and Gyokeres.

On the other hand, United also need a new striker. They are ready to part ways with both Hojlund and Zirkzee. This will allow them to raise funds and go in strongly for a new striker. Despite them showing interest in Ramos, their top priority is still Liam Delap.
