Two of the most popular women in America sat together and chatted last Winter at a Kansas City Chiefs football game. And now, thanks to Caitlin Clark, we know the details about her conversation with Taylor Swift.
Last January Clark sat next to Swift in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium as the Chiefs beat the Houston Texans in the AFC Playoffs. CBS cameras, of course, were fixated during the game on the WNBA star and Travis Kelce's girlfriend, who doubles as one of the planet's most popular music icons.
"I think what people don't always realize about people with a certain spotlight, whether it's her, whether it's me, whether it's another professional athlete or a pop star, we're real people," Clark said in a new interview on ESPN. "We're just having normal conversations as any other person in Arrowhead Stadium that night. She loves the Chiefs just as much as I do. I'm talking football with her."
Swift loves her some Kelce and Clark is rabid Chiefs fan. So instead of fame and fortune and girl power the two talked shop in the form of football.
"She loved it, and just like her passion, and honestly, probably one of the sweetest people I've ever been around," Clark continued. "And everybody says that when you meet her, but it's really true. She just treats everybody with the same amount of kindness, and her family was great."
