There is no man more beloved in Orchard Park than Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen. Forged in the winters of Wyoming, he was a natural fit in Western New York, and he was embraced by the fanbase as he ascended from a turbulent rookie season to one of the game’s era-defining players.
In accepting Allen, the fanbase has also taken kindly to his partner. Actress Hailee Steinfeld said “yes” in November when Allen proposed, and has quickly become one of the most famous members of the Buffalo faithful. The two have become the NFL’s second couple, behind only Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.
Recently, Steinfeld headlined “Sinners,” a Jim Crow-era vampire film that has taken over the nation.
Her stardom isn’t taking the kind of climb Allen saw, partly because she’s been such a long-established star. Having starred in “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” and “Hawkeye,” she’s among the football world’s most famous spouses. With the success of the spring blockbuster, though, brighter lights could still be on the way.
Bills fans are ready for Steinfeld to take the next step in her career.
“Hailee is in the prime of her career, enjoying a great moment in her professional life, and her personal life is not far behind with Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen,” Marca wrote. “But no one can stop her, and she already has her eye on her next big dream in the world of cinema…
“In a rather entertaining chat with 'BEAU SOCIETY', her own newsletter, Steinfeld expressed her desire to host Saturday Night Live, considering it part of her bucket list, although she is currently focused on her acting career.”
While Steinfeld has her eyes on Manhattan, Allen is locked in on Santa Clara, where Super Bowl 60 will be held. His Bills, of course, are favored to win the AFC East. For now, though, the conference still runs through the Kansas City Chiefs.
Allen has lost to Kansas City four times in the playoffs, each in an incredibly heartbreaking fashion. Entering Year 8, he’ll hope to finally get Buffalo over the hump and etch himself into football immortality.
