Arsenal appear to have been handed a triple injury boost ahead of Sunday’s vital Premier League clash against Newcastle United.
The Gunners still need a point to guarantee qualification for the Champions League following last Sunday’s morale-boosting draw against Liverpool.
Coming off the back of their Champions League semi-final disappointment, Mikel Arteta’s men appeared destined to suffer a fourth defeat in a row when they went 2-0 behind at Anfield after little more than 20 minutes.
Second half goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Mikel Merino, however, secured a valuable point but the Spain international will serve a one-game suspension after he was sent-off for a second bookable offence late on against the Champions
Martinelli limped out of a training session at the Emirates on Wednesday, sparking fears he too would be unavailable, but he returned to action shortly after he was seen leaving the pitch to receive treatment.

The 23-year-old impressed as a makeshift striker last weekend and may well have continued in that role against opposition who have already beaten Arsenal on three occasions this season.
There was better news for Arteta with Declan Rice spotted in training after he missed the trip to Liverpool with a muscle injury.
Leandro Trossard, who was substituted with 12 minutes remaining against the Reds, also took part in the session and should be available.
Arsenal were also boosted by the return of Kai Havertz who has been out of action since January.
The Germany international had scored 16 goals in all competitions when he suffered a serious hamstring injury during the club’s warm weather training session in Dubai.
Havertz wasn’t expected to play again this season but could yet make a vital contribution in the final two games of the campaign.
