Shilo Sanders is beginning a new chapter in his football career. Despite going undrafted in the 2025 NFL draft, Sanders still managed to find his way to an NFL team, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers signing the former Colorado Buffaloes defensive back to a three-year contract worth $2.9 million.
Without his famous father, former NFL superstar Deion Sanders, and his brother, Shedeur Sanders, who is now with the Cleveland Browns, Shilo will look to make an impact on the Buccaneers on his own.
Not having his father or brother on the same team with him isn’t a new experience for Shilo, who played two years of college football with the South Carolina Gamecocks before transferring to Colorado. That background should aid Shilo in adjusting seamlessly into his new environment.

The Buccaneers recently posted a video of Shilo touring the team’s locker room and checking out his new gear, including gloves and helmets. While looking at his locker, he was left in awe by all the apparel he now has at his disposal, which he admitted was way more than what he had before on any team.
What endeared him to fans more was his candidness and fun personality in the video.
“Imagine if he int his own brother in the 2026 season”
“As a Bucs fan, I’m rooting so hard for this guy.”
“Hes a good kid with a ton of charisma….I hope he pans out to be a bucs legend”
“his genuine gratitude is why he just may be my new favorite…”
“This dude is always great energy, best of luck my brother 😂🫡”
“Got a good feeling about him”
