Doncaster Rovers loan man Teddy Sharman-Lowe would be open to another season on loan with the club, according to the Doncaster Free Press.
The Chelsea youngster, who turned 22 in March, is coming off the back of a successful spell at the Eco-Power Stadium, playing in every single minute of Doncaster Rovers’ league campaign as they won the League Two title with an impressive 84 points.
With the South Yorkshire side set to make the jump to League One for the 2025/26 season, local news outlet the Doncaster Free Press states Sharman-Lowe is open to returning to develop his game further at a higher level.

Chelsea talent Sharman-Lowe previously gained experience in the National League South with Havant & Waterlooville and in the National League with Bromley.
Previous reports said his parent club are now eyeing a Championship move for the ‘keeper to progress him further, but Doncaster seemingly stand a chance of striking a reunion deal if they wish.
A breakout campaign
Leicester-born stopper Sharman-Lowe enjoyed his breakout campaign in Doncaster Rovers’ promotion season, keeping an impressive 13 clean sheets and conceding just 50 goals in his 46 appearances – an average of just 1.09 per game.
His most impressive and impactful moment during the title-winning campaign came in Rovers’ final home fixture of the season, when they beat promotion rivals Bradford City 2-1. Sharman-Lowe saved a penalty during the match, effectively clinching promotion for his adoptive club with one game to spare.

Grant McCann praise
Following the game against the Bantams, Doncaster Rovers manager Grant McCann spoke highly of Sharman-Lowe, and will be hoping the promising star gives him another season. As per The Yorkshire Post, McCann said:
“Teddy has been exceptional and got better every game and you have to remember this is his first loan in the EFL and he has produced two magnificent saves.”
“But I felt the energy in the stadium that it was going to be our day. I couldn’t be more happy for teddy as he’s a young lad. He’s made one or two mistakes this year and we didn’t bring him out and replace him as we trusted his ability. He’s had a tremendous season and will benefit so much.”

Time will tell if the Chelsea prospect returns to the Eco-Power Stadium, but suffice it to say that, having becoming a fan-favourite, a second stint at the club would be welcomed by the club’s following, and give Rovers greater hope of maintaining their status as a third-tier club next year.
