Travis Kelce Leaks Chiefs' NFL Opener, Doesn't Seem Happy About the Location!

Travis Kelce does not seem happy about the Kansas City Chiefs’ season opener.

There have been rumors that the Chiefs would be playing division rival, the Los Angeles Chargers, to open the season in Sao Paulo, Brazil. If you don’t know, the NFL often has international games throughout the season, and other teams have played in Brazil before.

Travis confirmed they’re going to Brazil to open the season on September 5, and he doesn’t seem too pleased.

The full NFL schedule isn’t out yet, and this information won’t be publicly available until Wednesday night (May 14), when the NFL officially reveals the 2025-2026 schedule. But, Travis still revealed the info on his podcast after it’s been rumored for a few days now.

“This isn’t out until Wednesday…Yeah, we’re definitely playing in Brazil. I’ll be there, not to do a podcast. I’ll be playing football in the f*****g heat,” Travis said on the “New Heights” podcast. “There’s just something about getting close to the equator, I don’t want to put on football uniform. I’ve been in Jacksonville in September, that’s f*****g miserable.”

“Sao Paulo, is that by the water? I’d rather it be dry than humid, I’m a sweaty guy. If it is humid, I am going to be miserable. But I am going to find a way to get a win,” he added.

Jason Kelce, Travis‘ brother, did not have glowing things to say about the location either after the Eagles had a tough time with the turf. Jason said, “The field was atrocious last year. It was noticeably bad; they were slipping all over the place. It was a bad field. Just letting you know, wear your seven studs.”

Find out why Travis did not retire this year.
