The return of Kieran Tierney to Celtic from Arsenal is a move that many fans have been looking forward to.
The Scotland full-back decided to return to Celtic after Arsenal decided against offering Tierney a year extension to his current deal.
And now, after six years in London, Tierney will return to Celtic and, it’s fair to say, many Arsenal fans are unhappy about it.
But how does the returning Celtic hero feel about it?

Kieran Tierney ‘champing at the bit’ to return to Celtic
Brendan Rodgers was taking in his pre-match press conference when the Celtic manager was asked if he has spoken to Tierney recently about his return to Glasgow.
And whilst admitting he hasn’t chatted to him, Rodgers was in no doubt about how Tierney feels about returning home.
Rodgers told Celtic TV, “I know he will be [excited to return]. I haven’t spoken to him a lot of late. We’ve exchanged messages and stuff, but I know his love of the club and excitement to come back here.
“So, yes, I’m sure he’s champing at the bit to get back.”

Tierney’s season at Arsenal ended when PSG knocked the Premier League club out of the Champions League.
With Celtic up next, the Celtic-supporting left-back will undoubtedly help push the team further and build on recent successes domestically and in Europe.
What Aston Villa captain John McGinn said about Tierney’s Celtic return
From one Celtic fan to another, Aston Villa captain John McGinn had words of encouragement for his Scotland pal’s return to Celtic.
Once touted for a move to Paradise himself, McGinn said he was delighted for Tierney, “I’m really pleased for Kieran.
“He is an unbelievable footballer and totally dedicated to his profession.
“Celtic is his club and I would imagine he is really excited about going back and playing again under Brendan Rodgers.
“I’ve no doubt Kieran will add extra quality to the squad and his experience will be invaluable as they push towards remaining the dominant team in the country.
“It’s also about progress in Europe and Kieran will want to help the club into the Champions League. It’s the tournament every footballer wants to be involved in.
“So, I wish Kieran well but he also has plenty to look forward to with Arsenal in the next few weeks and he’ll be desperate to go out on a high.”
