Manchester United have not had the ideal preparation for the Europa League final due to injury blows that have continued to impact results on the pitch.
We are quickly approaching the Europa League final, which presents an opportunity to win a trophy and qualify for the Champions League.
It has been a turbulent campaign for the Red Devils, set to finish in the bottom half of the Premier League, but they will face English opposition in the final, although in different circumstances.
The cup is within reach now and it gives Ruben Amorim a chance to salvage the season. He will still demand a significant improvement from his team next season.
Amorim will be sweating on the fitness of several players ahead of the final, hoping that they can pass fit to face Tottenham on Wednesday night.

Manchester United trio run risk of missing Europa League final
Ruben Amorim held a press conference ahead of the Europa League final at Old Trafford this evening, with the club hosting a media open day ahead of the game.
It was a chance for Amorim to provide a fitness update on Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt and Ayden Heaven.
“I don’t know if they are going to be available,” Amorim said. “We are going to try and push because it is the final matches and there is a final.

“All the players want to play in that really bad. I don’t think they will go to Chelsea, but we will have a possibility to have some of them in the final.”
This is positive because it would be a major blow if United were without Yoro or the other defensive pair for the final.
Amorim also ruled them out of the trip to Chelsea on Friday night.
Diogo Dalot working hard to make Europa League final
Another player facing a race against time to make the final is Diogo Dalot.
The full-back is usually credited for his availability but was recently hit with an injury due to the workload.
Amorim added: “Dalot is trying really bad. I don’t want to risk Dalot because when you start getting one injury, a second injury, it is a big thing.
“We cannot have these kinds of problems in our squad. We will see. He is working really hard to get in the final.”
