Derrick Henry and the Baltimore Ravens had an incredible run last season, his first year with the AFC franchise.
Henry led the Ravens to the divisional round of the postseason by posting phenomenal numbers behind quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Baltimore lost to the Buffalo Bills after defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers in the wild-card round. Despite the talent, with Henry leading the way, Baltimore was halted short of its Super Bowl goal.
On Wednesday, the Ravens ensured themselves an opportunity to continue competing for a title.
Derrick Henry signed a contract extension with the Ravens worth $30 million, with $25 million fully guaranteed, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
After the announcement was made on social media, Henry's girlfriend, Adrianna Rivas, shared her thoughts on the deal, giving a shoutout to Henry's agency. Henry is represented by agent Todd France of Athletes First France.

According to Schefter, the deal that Henry signed with the Ravens marked the largest deal in NFL history for a running back over 30 years old.
While it's a risk, Baltimore was willing to make the deal for Henry, who clearly proved he was still one of the best running backs in the NFL last season, posting similar numbers to Offensive Player of the Year Saquon Barkley of the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.
