The Jets have spent the offseason retooling under new coach Aaron Glenn and general manager Darren Mougey. Wednesday one of the big final pieces of the 2025 NFL season will come into focus: the schedule.
We already know who the Jets will be playing and where the games will be. And the NFL revealed the Jets will “host” the Broncos in London on Oct. 12 in a Week 6 matchup at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after the league revealed its international slate on Tuesday.
But on Wednesday, we find out when and in what order the Jets will be playing their other 16 games.
Of course, the NFL won’t be officially revealing the full slate until 8 p.m. But often some of the details emerge during the hours before the sanctioned reveal.
So keep it locked here all day as we track the latest developments on the Jets’ schedule for 2025.

What to watch for
∗The Jets played five prime-time games and six standalone games in the first nine weeks of the 2024 season. That’s not going to happen in 2025, with Aaron Rodgers long gone and the Jets having one of their quietest offseasons in franchise history. The one game we already know about is a standalone game in London against the Broncos. Beyond that how many showcase games will the Jets get? It very well might be just one more, but we’re going to guess the get two: a game on a Monday night and Thursday night.
∗The best potential matchup, and the most likely to end up on Monday night football, is almost certainly their home game against the Steelers. With all signs pointing toward Rodgers joining Pittsburgh, an early-season slot seems like an intriguing game. As for the Thursday night game, there are several intriguing possibilities: a divisional game against the Bills is always a possibility, but we like the matchup with the Ravens, which would put the top two quarterbacks on the NFL’s all-time, single-season rushing yards on the same field in Lamar Jackson and Justin Fields.
∗The Jets do have one thing going for them heading into 2025 -- on paper, at least: one of the easiest schedules in the NFL. Their strength of schedule, based on 2024 win percentage, is .460, giving them the 26th easiest projected schedule in the NFL. By comparison, the Giants have the league’s toughest expected schedule with a 2024 winning percentage of .574. Of course, things can and will change with injuries, player movement since last year in trades/free agency, and impact from draft picks.
