Chiefs Diss Cowboys with Post Malone in Viral Reveal

Before the full NFL schedule has been released, one of the most anticipated matchups on the calendar was already announced Wednesday to stir all types of buzz.

The Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day in Arlington, Texas.

The NFL couldn't have placed a more perfect matchup on a more football-heavy pedestal. If both of these teams are competitive by Week 13, this broadcast could easily break viewership records because of both teams' notoriety - for better or for worse.

Shortly after the reveal, the Chiefs social media page kicked off the rivalry by trolling the Cowboys - and longtime fan Post Malone - with an old photo of "Posty" wearing a Patrick Mahomes jersey.

The Grammy-nominated artist, who grew up in Grapevine (about 25 minutes from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX), has been a life-long Cowboys fan ... but occasionally wears other team's colors at concerts in the area, like the shot above.

While Dallas has not responded to this shoutout online, the post comes a year after the Cowboys also used Posty for a social media campaign - the annual schedule release video.

As we wait to see what both team's have cooked up for their schedule release videos this year, the Chiefs have already gotten in on the fun with a call out of Post Malone and the Cowboys.

Kansas City has already seen half of their games announced, headlined by the season opener in Brazil against the Los Angeles Chargers, a Super Bowl rematch in Week 2 with the Philadelphia Eagles and a Christmas Day matchup with the Denver Broncos in Week 17.

The Chiefs' full schedule will be released at 8 p.m. E.T. on May 14.
