Five road trips that every Broncos fan should consider in 2025

The Broncos schedule is out. Their slate of nine home games and eight road tilt has been announced. As always, it features plenty of good opportunities to see Denver play, both at Empower Field and other venues.

Eight games away from the Mile High City provides some interesting road trip options for fans. If Broncos Country is looking to travel, there are some great destinations.

Las Vegas, Los Angeles, London, Philadelphia and Washington D.C. are some top-flight spots. A lot of fun can be had in those locales, beyond just the NFL game.

Which destination makes for the best roadie, however? Well, that’s all about what else can be worked into the trip.

Here’s a look at the five best road trips on the Broncos slate:

NO. 1 – WEEK 6

Oct. 12 – Broncos at Jets (London)

A trip to the Big Apple would’ve been fun, but getting to go across the pond to watch the Broncos in London is a big-time treat. And this time around, Denver won’t be playing at Wembley Stadium, a famous-but-underwhelming venue. For this one, they’ll be on the pitch at Tottenham Hotspur, one of the coolest spots in England to watch any sporting event. Throw in the fact that this game should be a W for the good guys and a trip to see the sights and watch American football on British soil is a must-do trip.

NO. 2 – WEEK 5

Oct. 5 – Broncos at Eagles

Any time a team gets to square off against the defending Super Bowl champs, it’s a great test. This will provide an early-season exam for the Broncos. In addition, it’ll be a great to head to Philadelphia, as the weather will still be nice in the City of Brotherly Love. Head to Pat and Geno’s. Check out the Liberty Bell. Run the steps that Rocky made famous. The other upside to this time of year is there’s a good chance that the Phillies will be hosting a playoff game that weekend.

NO. 3 – WEEK 3

Sept. 21 – Broncos at Chargers

This early-season matchup offers the best chance for the college football / NFL doubleheader on the Broncos schedule. Before heading to SoFi to watch Denver take on Los Angeles in a game that will almost assuredly have playoff implications later in the season, head to the historic L.A. Coliseum to watch USC host Michigan State in an interesting Big 10 matchup. And if you really want to make it a super-sports weekend, catch the Dodgers and the Giants on Friday night at Dodger Stadium. That’s a great triple-header!

NO. 4 – WEEK 13

Nov. 30 – Broncos at Commanders

Well, the timing isn’t ideal. That’s for sure. A trip to D.C. is always a treat, as there is almost no end to the number of landmarks, museums and other sights to see. But conditions might not be ideal in the nation’s capital in late November. In addition, it eliminates the chances of a football-baseball double-dip, which is a bit of a shame. But the football will be great, as two big-time, second-year quarterbacks will be on the field, which is why this is a “Sunday Night Football” matchup in Week 13.

NO. 5 – WEEK 14

Dec. 7 – Broncos at Raiders

At some point, it’d be nice if Denver’s trip to Sin City fell at a better point on the calendar. Ideally, there’d be a full slate of college games on Saturday and pool weather to kill some of the weekend. That’s not the case here, but it could be worse. Conference championship games will provide for a great batch of college games on Saturday, which will be nice. And the Broncos will avoid the F1 race in Las Vegas and Christmas weekend, two events that have made recent trips to Allegiant Stadium tougher to pull off.
