Arsenal could look to land Viktor Gyokeres or Benjamin Sesko in the summer transfer window as Mikel Arteta steps up his search for a new striker - but a report has stated their wage demands have been revealed in what would be an expensive outlay for the Gunners in the coming summer transfer window.
It's clear that Arsenal need a new striker having suffered with injuries at the top end of their pitch in the Premier League season. Either talisman would deliver that in abundance, though it remains to be seen who they will bring in - especially due to their wage demands.

The report by Sky Sports states that Arsenal will sign a striker in the summer transfer window, but they haven't narrowed their options down to one name - with Gyokeres and Sesko both being on sporting director Andrea Berta's list, and the former is thought to have Berta 'very impressed' by his talents.

Although the report claims it will take around £67million each to land the duo, both of them would be expected to be paid in the region of £200,000-per-week if they are to become the main striker at the north London club - an outlay of almost half a million if they both sign.
As per Capology, only Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard, alongside striking duo Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz, earn north of £200,000-per-week at the Emirates Stadium. Both Gyokeres and Sesko would demand to be put into this wage bracket, especially given how important they would be in trying to land Arsenal a first Premier League title in over 20 years.
Gyokeres has had another outstanding season at Sporting, scoring 38 Primeira Liga goals in just 32 games for the Portuguese outfit, and a further 14 goals in all competitions - including six in just eight outings in the Champions League, cementing his status as one of the leading scorers in Europe, being called 'unstoppable' for his efforts on the Iberian Peninsula.
Sesko, meanwhile, has scored 13 league goals in the Bundesliga season for RB Leipzig, also leading to him being labelled as 'unstoppable'. It's naturally a tougher division, and given that he has five years on Gyokeres to make his impact, the speedy Slovenian would also be a beneficial arrival in north London if Berta were to approve his signing, having room to grow in the half-decade extra of time that Gyokeres simply can't afford.
