The summer window is fast approaching, and early work is already ahead of what is expected to be a huge few months across the Premier League and Europe. Arsenal want to sign a striker and another wide forward, with Alexander Isak a dream target, and Rodrygo also admired, though the likes of Viktor Gyokeres and Nico Williams are considered more attainable transfer targets.
Chelsea are also expected to be busy once again, as they target moves for Ipswich’s Liam Delap and Bournemouth’s Dean Huijsen, though face stiff competition from the likes of Real Madrid for the young centre-back. Liverpool are also in the market for a defender as they look to replace Madrid-bound Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Jeremie Frimpong is their top target, and are ready to battle with Manchester City for Florian Wirtz.
Much of Manchester United and Tottenham’s summer will be dictated by qualifying for the Champions League, or failing to do so, and the extra prestige and funds which it brings. Matheus Cunha continues to be linked with a move to Old Trafford, along with Delap, while the Spurs will liking make the permanent signing of Mathys Tel their first business of the summer. Arsenal agree Gyokeres deal
Arsenal want a new striker this summer and Viktor Gyokeres appears to be the most likely candidate to fill the role.
Journalist Pedro Almeida has sensationally reported that a deal has been agreed with Sporting for the striker to move to north London.
Gyokeres has an £85million release clause in his contract in Portugal but he is expected to be available for closer to £60m. It remains to be seen what fee has been agreed but progress could well be being made.

Real Madrid want to agree Huijsen deal today
One deal which is moving fast two weeks before the transfer window open is Dean Huijsen’s Bournemouth exit.

But Real Madrid have acted fasted to beat the Premier League giants to the punch. Fabrizio Romano reports this morning that the player’s representatives have landed in Madrid to close the deal.
Madrid will play the release clause in three installments, and there is a five-year contract on the table for Huijsen to sign.
