A hellish Rangers season might be coming to a close and fans will be glad to see the back of it.
But the club takeover is also reaching its conclusion and that is enough to get supporters buzzing.
A sparse crowd at Ibrox Stadium for the final home Scottish Premiership game of the season summed up the mood after a wretched campaign.
However, one man in attendance was another sign that American consortium are in the final throes of this complex takeover.
There was much hype about Andrew Cavenagh yet again taking his place in the directors box given Record Sport first revealed he was the driving force behind the whole thing.
But next to him was the lesser spotted Raminder Dhadwal, who is the Director of 49ers Enterprises and Investments.

A Harvard University graduate, Dhadwal is a key figure in the NFL giants’ business wing and is heavily involved in their Leeds United investment and his presence is another sign the end game is looming.

He was also part of the group given a VIP tour of Ibrox last month by Rangers chief executive Patrick Stewart.
