Report: Tyreek Hill Taunted Over Arrest In Colts Now-Deleted Video Promo

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill got shaded in a now-deleted schedule release video by the Indianapolis Colts.

The video, which has since been deleted on the Colts’ social media pages (but has been downloaded andreuploaded by social media users), announced the game schedules for the Colts and the teams they are to face for each week.

The video was an animated clip made in Minecraft-style art. For Week 1, the Colts announced they are to face the Miami Dolphins. The clip showed a dolphin, wearing a #10 jersey and with the name “Hill,” swimming, and was suddenly stopped and seemingly arrested by the Coast Guard.

As if the “Hill” label is not enough to conclude it to be referring to Tyreek, the wide receiver is also wearing the jersey #10, the same one the dolphin wears in the clip.

BREAKING: The Indianapolis #Colts DELETED their 2025 schedule release video just an hour after posting it.

😳😳😳

The team likely deleted it because they had the Coast Guard arresting #Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (@cheetah) in the video.

Fans were quick to conclude that this was a shade to Hill, who got himself into a traffic violation incident last year, which ended with him getting detained. Fans did not like this reference, and the post got mixed reactions.

After deleting the video, the Colts X accountreposted a new series of images serving as their schedule announcement. This time, it features comic-style art of their franchise mascot beating up the mascots or logos of the teams they are facing each week.

The art showed the Colts’ mascot giving a dolphin an uppercut.

Why Was Tyreek Hill Referenced Through An Arrest?

Tyreek Hill was briefly detained by Miami-Dade police ahead of the Miami Dolphins’ 2024 season opener due to a traffic violation. Officers pulled him over for speeding, careless driving, and not wearing a seatbelt, and bodycam footage later showed Hill being handcuffed and placed face down on the street outside Hard Rock Stadium.

The case was eventually dismissed due to an “oversight.”

“The Miami-Dade Police Department is aware that a docket of citations issued to multiple individuals, including the non-criminal citations issued to Mr. Tyreek Hill have been dismissed because the officer did not attend the hearing,” department spokesperson and Detective Luis Sierrasaid in a statement.

“A citation dismissed due to this reason does not indicate that the citation held no merit. An internal review as to why the officer did not appear in court has revealed an oversight on his behalf. This matter will be handled administratively.”

Following the dismissal, Hill gave a statement to the media, saying: “If I wasn’t Tyreek Hill, Lord knows, I probably would have been, like, worst-case scenario, I would have been shot or would have been locked up and put behind bars, you know, for a simple speeding ticket. And that’s crazy that officers would take it, you know, to that level.”
