The NFL schedule is set to be released on Wednesday night. But the Jets’ schedule found its way onto social media little bit early.
The New York Post confirmed the leaked schedule on Wednesday afternoon. And it features some potential drama right out of the gate. If Aaron Rodgers signs with Pittsburgh, he’ll be facing his former team in his Steelers debut. And he’ll be doing it in the first ever game coached by Aaron Glenn, who Rodgers criticized for being disrespectful in the abrupt February meeting in which Glenn informed Rodgers of his release.
That certainly would make things interesting. But unlike each of the past two seasons, the Jets will not be kicking off the year in primetime.
In fact, they’ll be be playing a whole lot less in primetime, with just two games after dark this season: a Week 3 Monday night matchup at the Dolphins and a Week 11 Thursday night matchup in New England. By week 9 of last year the Jets had already played five primetime games.
Here’s the full slate of games.
