There's always anticipation for the NFL Schedule release, not only because fans get to know the order of the opponents their favorite team will face in the regular season, but also because clubs have the chance to poke fun at their opponents. The Jacksonville Jaguars have routinely hit it out of the ballpark with their announcements, and 2025 is no different.
This time, the Jags turned to influencer Asthon Hall to reveal their full 17-game schedule for the 2025 season. Here's how the whole thing looks:

Throughout the video, Hall takes several jabs at the Jaguars opponents. For instance, he hits a Colts helmet with no regard and with violent force. Later on the clip, he's in the middle of a call and his phone dies, which is a shot at the Chargers.
During his viral video, Hall writes his goals on a notepad. For the Jaguars schedule announcement, he jotted down the frase intangible rich, which general manager James Gladstone uses to describe the kind of player he and the team is looking for.

In case you're wondering who Hall is, he went viral because of a video where he shows his daily routine and performs a series of bizarre tasks that start at 3:55 in the morning and finish before 9:00 a.m.
Something that stood out about the original video was Hall's use of Saragota Spring Water. He pulls off the same gimmick during the Jaguars announcement. When the video went viral, the sales of the brand skyrocketed, and it wouldn't be shocking to see another peak with his latest stunt.
Before the Jags announced their schedule, they began a thread on social media where they showed their opponents as popcorn. That's great because they found a way to engage with fans before the release.
The Jaguars hit it out of the ballpark with Asthon Hall in their NFL Schedule release video
Last year, the Jaguars went with an X-Men 97 theme for their schedule announcement. It made sense because the series was trending at the moment, but also because it was a hint that they were bringing back the Prowler throwbacks. In 2023, they hired writer and actor Asher Grodman to direct a clip that portrayed Jags players and coaches as actors pretending to play football.
You could make the case that this year's announcement was less elaborate, but it was effective nonetheless. They managed to poke fun at their opponents while taking advantage of a meme that had already gone viral. Sure, you may find it annoying, but everyone was talking about it. Heck, it led to Mexican, Asian, and all kinds of alternate versions and parodies of the original.
The one potential negative of this year's release is that it was relatively short compared to the ones from the previous two years. Other than that, it was fine. It also doesn't hurt that Hall is a Jacskonville native. Why would the Jags pass up the chance to collaborate with one of their own?
The truth is that it was a fine schedule release. It may not rival the ones from the past two years, but it's pretty good.
