West Ham are one of three teams targeting FC Copenhagen right-back Rodrigo Huescas, according to reports in the German media.
Tabloid Bild (via Get German Football News) claim that the Hammers are vying with Borussia Dortmund and Marseille for the Mexican international.
Huescas is an attack-minded fullback so he can be deployed in either a back four or back five.

Considering head coach Graham Potter has used both systems since his appointment back in January, it seems as if the 21-year-old would be the right fit.
What do fans need to know about Huescas?
The defender came through the ranks of Cruz Azul, making his senior debut for the Mexican club in April 2021 during a CONCACAF Champions League knockout round tie against Arcahaie FC.
Huescas went on to make 86 appearances before he was sold to Copenhagen last summer. Since moving to Europe, he has played 34 games in total, including 2 matches against Premier League opponents.
He came on as a substitute in the first leg of the Conference League last 16 tie versus Chelsea before playing the full 90 minutes in the return fixture at Stamford Bridge back in March.
West Ham need to reinforce the right flank
The Irons confirmed earlier this month that Vladimir Coufal would be leaving the London Stadium when his contract expires at the end of June.
It means that Potter will be left with just one senior right-back, Aaron Wan-Bissaka. For that reason, the club’s interest in Huescas is not a surprise.
With just a year’s worth of experience in Europe, there is no guarantee that he would be a success if he made the switch to the Premier League, but there is clearly potential there, based on the interest he is attracting from top clubs.
