Get ready for what's being described as a "social survival of the fittest."
Fox's new reality competition The Snake, hosted by comedian Jim Jefferies, pits contestants of different persuasive professions against one another in competition for a $100,000 grand prize. To win, they'll have to overcome a series of challenges put before them, whether they're a lawyer, an NFL cheerleader, a bounty hunter, a tech manager, or something else.
The winner of each challenge becomes the Snake (a good thing!) and heads up a so-called saving ceremony, which is described as "an explosive, chain reaction elimination where it's not about who wants you gone, but who is willing to save you."
The official description of the series teases that "the social aspect of the game never stops – connections are everything whether you’re making friends, faking friends, or sparking romantic connections."
And the whole time, contestants will have to suss out people's true motives.
In the trailer (which Entertainment Weekly is exclusively revealing above), the audience sees a tech manager crying over having to make a decision in front of the group only to see her later tell the camera, "I think I deserve an Oscar for that performance."

The Snake premieres Tuesday, June 10, at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. Central on Fox, and streams the next day on Hulu.
