Colts schedule release video

The Indianapolis Colts deleted their 2025 schedule release video due to backlash from a reference to Tyreek Hill’s arrest the year before.
Before the Miami Dolphins’ season opener in September 2024, Hill was caught on video being handcuffed by police on his way to Hard Rock Stadium. Additional footage released by police later revealed that Hill had gotten into an argument with officers before they eventually dragged him out of his car and took him to the ground. Hill received an outpouring of his support across the league; and he publicly called for the officers involved to be fired for their treatment of him.
On Wednesday, NFL teams released their own creative videos to reveal who and when they’ll be playing for for the 2025 season. The Colts’ social media team decided on a video inspired by the video game Minecraft, featuring players and other characters in the same pixelated art style.
In Week 1, the Colts will take on the Dolphins. To demonstrate that, the video included a dolphin wearing Hill’s jersey. Suddenly, the dolphin was stopped by a coast guard ship.
As pointed out by reporter Ari Meirov, the video has since been deleted.
#Colts statement: “We removed our schedule release video because it exceeded our rights with Microsoft & included an insensitive clip involving Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill. We sincerely apologize to Microsoft and Tyreek.”

ESPN insider Adam Schefter added that the Colts also issued an apology to Hill’s agent.
“Colts reached out to agent Drew Rosenhaus to pass along their apologies to his client Tyreek Hill over their schedule release video,” he said in a tweet.
