The Philadelphia Eagles are entering the 2025 season looking to become just the 10th team in NFL history to win back-to-back Super Bowls.
Despite the season still months away, excitement continues to grow, and on Wednesday, the Eagles, along with every other NFL team, released their full schedule, which features six primetime games.
It's become clear there's no lack of confidence from a handful of players, because offensive tackle Lane Johnson reposted the Eagles' graphic showcasing their opponents while writing "17-0!!"
Of course, it's an unlikely prediction considering the 1972 Miami Dolphins (14-0) and the 2007 New England Patriots (16-0) are the only teams to have an undefeated regular season in the Super Bowl era.
However, the bold prediction from the two-time First-Team All-Pro has caught the attention of many social media users, who have flocked to the comments to express similar optimism.
"He said so it must be true !" said one comment.
"Set the bar higher, let's make a even 20-0!!!" said another.
"I see the vision lane! Let's go out and make it a reality. #GoBirds," a third added.
A fourth stated, "Sorry Lane but I gotta correct you 20-0 !!!!"
"I second that with a 3-0 post season record totaling 20-0 season and second straight Lombardi Trophy Fly Eagles Fly," a fifth continued.
"love the confidence lane," said another.

It will remain to be seen if an undefeated season is in the works for the Eagles, but there's certainly some high expectations, as ESPN BET ties them with the Kansas City Chiefs for the best odds (+600) at winning the Super Bowl.
