With the 2025 NFL season coming up quickly, the [Green Bay Packers](https://totalpackers.com) look the part of a potential Super Bowl contender once again. They put together a strong draft class and also made key additions in free agency by signing offensive lineman Aaron Banks and cornerback Nate Hobbs.
There are still areas that could be improved, which is something that general manager Brian Gutekunst and the rest of the front office are always looking at doing.
At the quarterback position, things seem relatively set. Jordan Love is the clear starter with Malik Willis as the primary backup and more than capable of starting if called upon. Behind Willis, the Packers have Sean Clifford and Taylor Elgersma. However, they may not be done adding to the position.
New reports have shared that Green Bay is showing interest in another intriguing quarterback.
NFL insider Aaron Wilson of KPRC2 has [reported](https://x.com/AaronWilson_NFL/status/1922690498801672466) that the Packers worked out former Mississippi State and Washington quarterback Will Rogers on Wednesday morning.
Rogers would be an interesting addition. Obviously, he’s got the same last name as a former superstar from Green Bay, albeit a different spelling.
Throughout his college career, which consisted of four years at Mississippi State and one year at Washington, Rogers completed 69.5 percent of his pass attempts. He threw for 14,773 yards, 108 touchdowns, and just 35 interceptions.
Simply working out Rogers does not mean that the Packers are going to sign him. But, it does show that Gutekunst is interested in potentially adding another quarterback before training camp and preseason action.
This may not be huge news in the grand scheme of the season, but Green Bay showing interest in Rogers is still worth noting.
