‘He works wonders & then disappears’ - Barca warned off Luis Diaz

Barcelona’s transfer plans for the summer are thought to include trying to bring in a left winger to bolster the squad for next season.

Several names have already been mentioned, with Liverpool’s Luis Diaz and Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford both believed to be targets.

Barcelona have now been offered some advice on both players by former scout Bojan Krkic Sr who had a pretty brutal verdict on the Liverpool star.

“Luis Díaz is a great player, but he lacks consistency in performance. If I were at Barça, I wouldn’t sign him,” he told Cadena SER.

“He’s a player who works wonders for you and then disappears for three games. Or he gives you a brutal half-hour and disappears.”

Bojan went on to say that he’d much rather sign Barcelona sign Rashford this summer.

“I’d sign Rashford before Luis Díaz,” he added.

“Without a doubt, if I have to choose between Rashford and Díaz, I’d go with Rashford, who gives me the option to play as a number 9.”

Rashford is thought to be eager to sign for Barcelona but his massive wages are likely to prove a major obstacle to any move this summer.
